Milford Goat Dairy has been a license NH dairy since 2011. This means that the State comes to the farms and inspects our farms, including the barns, milking parlors, processing kitchen, pasteurizer and sales areas. The raw milk is tested as well as our cheeses. The whole herd has been tested for tuberculosis, brucellosis, Johne’s, all are negative. We do not use antibiotics or hormones with our animals unless they are sick and that milk is not used for customers, however, we do check for antibiotics at least weekly in case they get into something they should not eat—they are goats after all.
