Butternut Farm & Holland Farm

Butternut Farm, Noreen & Tim O’Connell and Holland Farm, Marcy O’Connell make up Milford Goat Dairy LLC.  Between the two farms we have 3 bucks, 18 milking does (more to come) 27 kids and 10 yearlings or dry does.  The majority of the herd is at Holland Farm as Marcy has more and better barn and pasture space.

THE BOYS! These are the daddys of the herd. Nugget (black) is a wether (neutered male) and companion goat. Pony (brown) is a Nubian buck, Camden (black & white) is an Alpine buck. Although bucks are stinky during breeding season (rut) they like and respond to TLC. Goats are herd animals and need company.

These are the nubian-X yearlings at Holland Farm. Milford Goat Dairy is actually 2 farms, Holland Farm where the majority of goats live, and Butternut Farm where some goats live but where the processing kitchen is.
